  1. Hurray! Vindication for the Herne and his choice of music!

    Another great show, guys, although we’re all missing Cait! Hurry back Cait! My PC is on the bum too, I’ve been using my PowerBook to geek for the past few days until I can get the old PC back up.

  2. 7/10 for the music Herne!

    Another good show! Just a quick comment on the Delicious thing. As a recent convert to Delicious, I like to troll through the AussieGeek tag generally and find things others have tagged that you don’t necessarily get time to cover on the show… if you moved to an inbox system could we still do that?

  3. @Tom no mate you wold not be able to see the sent items to the aussiegeeks is we changed it to an account type thing. There are disadvantages and advantages to this. I can see why you like it the way it is :) This is also a consideration for us in general.

    @Herne Yes congrats :)

    Oh an dyes we are all still alive and kicking, a bit damp but not inundated!! Thanks for everyone that has asked one way or another is we are OK!! Sorry that I have not been online that much but the power has been mega flaky and tonight I had both laptop and network issues… Geeze… Never ends…

  4. Regarding netbooks. Returns at big box retailers have been terrible. Normal people have no idea anything other than windows exists. They get Ubuntu home and even though it’s generally better and easier they get flustered and return the device. Meanwhile people like us will buy our EEEPCs online. My neighbor’s kid would not use Ubuntu for school because in OpenOffice she’d have to “Save As”

    yep, that’s the future of the united states. good luck!

    I am hoping to move my lady to an Asus N280 unit soon as the prices drop

  5. This is a test post from my iPod touch!

    It’s too bad you can’t train this to remember often-used phrases like email addresses and signatures and such. It would make life much easier if I didn’t have to keep entering my whole web address.

    Isn’t this fun?
